Are your belly paints safe for pregnant mothers?
Yes, our belly paints are made from non-toxic and hypoallergenic FDA approved ingredients. Our founding artist even had her own belly painted as you can see in the photos above.
How long will the session take?
We try to keep most of our belly painting designs within 45 minutes to ensure the comfort of our pregnant mummies. Each 45-minute belly painting includes a single subject with one background colour. The duration of the photography at Orange Studios usually takes up to 1.5 hours.
What are your most popular belly painting designs?
Our founding artist will have a chat with you to find out your unique story and make a recommendation on your belly painting design. Animals, rainbows and florals are very popular elements in our designs. Every motherhood experience is different and we hope to express yours in a way that is personal and meaningful for your family.
Can I book your belly painting only?
Yes, you may book our belly painting without the photography by Orange Studios. However, from our experience, hiring a professional studio photographer is definitely a worthy investment to bring out your maternity glow and the belly art. Our belly painter can also do basic home-based photography at a nominal add-on fee.
What do I wear?
All white outfits usually work best for both mummy and daddy, giving your photos an effortless touch of grace. White is the easiest outfit colour to plan and helps to draw focus on you and your hubby. Ideally, mummy should wear a crop top and maxi style skirt where the waist band sits below the baby bump.
When should I schedule my maternity photo shoot?
Maternity photo shoots are best done when you are 32 to 36 weeks along.
Where is your studio located?
We have various studio locations near Tai Seng & Paya Lebar MRT. We will send you the final address once you have decided on your date and time. We can also travel to your preferred location at a nominal fee.
